Introducing Information:

Hana 40EC is a combined where a) Propergite is a contact and fumigant action & b) Abamectin-contact and stomach acaricide & insecticide. Abamectin production isolated from fermentation of streptomyces avermities, a naturally occurring soil Actinomycete (Bacteria). A mixture of two of these Avemectin B1a and Avermectin B1b introduced in 1985 as an Acaricide & Insecticide by Merck Sharp & Dohme Agvet (Now Syngenta AG)  in 1985. It works on sucking insect as well as Red Spider mite/mite of different crop. 

Propergite registered in 72 countries for the control of 36 species of mites. Propergite is also effective against those mites which gained resistance against other miticides & gives immediate protection to crops because feeding activity of mites ceases immediately after its application.

Function

Mode of Action

Insecticide & Acaricide with contact, stomach action. Has limited plant systemic activity, but exhibits translaminar movement.

How to work

Abamectin- Acts by stimulating the release of Gama Aminobutyric acid, an inhibitory neuro transmitter, thus causing paralysis. Propergite-Interferes with key mite enzymes systems, which causes interruption of normal metabolism, respiration and electron transport functions in the nervous system of mites
