INSECTICIDE

Insect pests are a significant threat to crop production, causing two main types of damage. The first is direct injury inflicted by the feeding insect, which may consume leaves, or burrow into stems, fruits, or roots. Hundreds of insect species are responsible for this, including larvae and adults from groups such as orthopterans, homopterans, heteropterans, coleopterans, lepidopterans, and dipterans. The second type is indirect damage, where the insect acts as a vector, transmitting bacterial, viral, or fungal infections to crops. Insecticides are categorized by their chemical composition, toxicological action, or mode of penetration, the latter distinguishing them based on whether their effect is through ingestion (stomach poisons), inhalation (fumigants), or contact with the insect’s body (contact poisons). Most synthetic insecticides act through all three pathways and are characterized by their chemical structure. Additionally, certain organic compounds found naturally in plants and some inorganic substances are utilized as insecticides and may be approved for use in organic farming. Our range of insecticides includes various formulations to address different needs, including Organocarbamates, Organophosphorus compounds, and Pyrethroids. We adhere to the WHO toxicity classification, offering Class II (Yellow) and specially Class III & IV (Green) products. From Class I (Red Category), we provide Aluminium Phosphide 56% under the brand Genetox, which is crucial for controlling pests in stored grains. Our product portfolio features a diverse selection of formulations such as Granular, EC, SL, SP, WP, and WDG, with options like Carbofuran 5% G, Diazinon 10%G, Fenvalerate 20% EC, Cypermethrin 10%EC, Chlorpyrifos 48% EC, and many more.
