Genemag

Product Name: GENEMAG

Introducing Information:

Genemag Magnesium sulfate is a chemical compound containing magnesium, sulfur and oxygen, with the formula MgSO4. In its hydrated form, the pH is 6.0 (5.5 to 6.5). It is often encountered as the heptahydrate, MgSO4·7H2O, commonly called Epsom salt. Anhydrous magnesium sulfate is used as a drying agent. Since the anhydrous form is hygroscopic (readily absorbs water from the air) and is therefore difficult to weigh accurately, the hydrate is often preferred when preparing solutions, for example in medical preparations. Epsom salt has been traditionally used as a component of bath salts.

COMPOSITION:

  • Magnesium = 9.5%
  • Sulphur = 12.5%

SPECIAL FEATURE:

  • Two essential micronutrient of plant Magnesium 9.5% and Sulphur 12.5% present In Genemag Magnesium Sulphate
  • Plant uptake magnesium sulphate for its normal growth and development. Deficiency of magnesium sulphate cannot be meet up by another fertilizer

Group

Magnesium (and Sulpur) based fertilizer (Micronutrient)

Formulation type

Granular

Function

Genemag Magnesium Sulphate acts to reduce Magnesium deficiency which are as follows:

DEFFICIENCY SYMPTOM OF MAGNESIUM:

  • Interveinal chlorosis of older leaves,
  • Yellowish, bronze, or reddish color of older leaves, while veins remains green; in advanced stage leaf tissue become uniformly pale yellow
  • Rolling leaves like drought effects, leaf margins may curl downward or upward with a puckering effect
  • Immature leaf fall
  • Reduction in growth

Mode of Action

Absorbed as Mg++; leaches from sandy soil; mobile in plant

Biochemistry

Magnesium ions are essential to all cells in living organisms. For example, the plants take needed magnesium by chlorophyll. Many enzymes realize on magnesium ions for their catalytic action especially enzymes join in ATP, DNA and RNA.
