G-Boric Acid

Product Name: G-BORIC ACID

Introducing Information:

G-Boric Acid is one of seven micronutrients essential to all plant growth. Its role was recognized first in the 1920s and since that time, boron deficiency has been recognized in a wide range of crops.  The chemical composition of Boric acid is H3BO3.

COMPOSITION:

  • Total Boron (Minmum)--------------17%
  • Lead (Max)----------------------------- 0.0015%
  • Arsenic (Max)--------------------------0.008%

Group

Boron based fertilizer (Micro nutrient)

Formulation type

Granular

Function

Bhumi Boric Acid acts to reduce Boron deficiency which are as follows:

DEFFICIENCY SYMPTOM OF BORON

  • Leaves near growing point turn yellow, growth buds appear as white or light brown with dead tissue
  • Pale green of young leaves
  • Death of growing points
  • Fruit and seed formation failure
  • Break down of internal tissues I root crops giving rise too darken areas referred as black heart
  • Hamper photosynthesis
  • Decrease of apical growth
  • Sterility arise in plant
  • Hamper pollination

Mode of Action

Absorbed as B(OH)3-; important in enabling photosynthetic transfer; very immoble in plants

Biochemistry

Boron is essential part of all types of enzymes, which regulates all activates of organism. The primary role of Boron was to facilitate the translocation of sugars on the phloem. Many studies have shown that an adequate boron supply is essential for proper nucleic acid metabolism. The incorporation of phosphorus into RNA and DNA  as well as  the actual levels of the nucleic acids have been shown to be influenced by boron. Phenol build-up is a common feature in boron deficiency, and it is probably responsible for many of the effects of tissue breakdown.
